Recyclemania Cornhole in the UU

The zero waste club helped the good consumerists of Cal Poly sort their waste during UU hour today. The cornhole game will be setup for the next week to help make recycling fun!

Zero Waste Workday

The Zero Waste Club met up at Rory's house to make our Cal Poly model of trash, sandwich boards, a corn hole style game for recycling, and compile a compostable products list for open house clubs and organizations.

Empower Poly Coalition Reunites!

The zero waste club felt funky fresh today walking a labyrinth and reuniting with the good people of the empower poly coalition. We participated in a lovely exercise called work that reconnects with Linda Seeley from mothers for peace and also learned of the great work EPC has done in the past. We're excited to make big changes this year!

Recyclemania Display on Dexter

The Zero waste club's big project this year is bringing Recyclemania to Cal Poly. Recyclemania is a national competition for promoting recycling on college campuses and to minimize waste. This weekend, the Club got together and started painting and building a display that will be on Dexter lawn this coming week. Here are some pictures from the build process!
